DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin is one of the most active stock-traders in the Senate โ€” and violated the STOCK Act against insider trading as recently as last August.

He currently holds stock in L3Harris, which has millions in contracts with ICE and FEMA.

The grift continues.

So I have a little recipe to keep you from going insane you watch The Daily Show, record Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and if you want Jimmy Fallon and then have a peaceful argument in your head about which monologue to watch first... doesn't matter who you pick there's no loser

Iceland locks in on date for EU referendum | Euractiv As a member of the European Economic Area, Iceland is already aligned with much of the bloc's legislation

Just announced: Iceland has urgently moved up its referendum to join the European Union - to 29 August.

A reminder: ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ is in many ways already a non-voting ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ member because of the EEA. This would give them voting power to shape the laws they have to follow.

Weโ€™re 7 days into something that looks like a war, feels like a war, costs like a war, has the same economic effects of a war, but weโ€™re not supposed to call it a war because it would require the President to follow that annoying thing called the United States Constitution.

It's horrifying to see US politicians and pundits evoke the 6 US soldiers killed in their unprovoked war of aggression, while ignoring the 1000s of Iranians killed. It assumes that Americans only care about American lives. Which is evil, obviously.

ICE is STILL in Minnesota and STILL terrorizing communities. Reporters that say otherwise are either uninformed (which....) or lazy (which... ) or just repeating regime lies (which... is also extremely bad).

People are still missing, people are and will be traumatized, businesses demolished...

Ya that'll bring justice to the Epstein survivors.Maybe it's time for Congress to bring justice,& impeach Bondi.Problem is,that would require courage...

A small group of Democratic lawmakers have just proposed legislation to bar members of Congress from profiting off prediction markets, citing elected officials' possession of "material nonpublic information."

So far the war in Iran has cost an estimated $5.5 billion.

That's roughly $1 billion per day.

$41,666,667 per hour.

$11,574 per second.

People do not want this.

They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

I did not listen to the Noem hearing but for a passing minute.

Were there ANY questions about the brutality, abuse, and starvation in the concentration camps or by ICE "agents?"

05.03.2026 02:37 ๐Ÿ‘ 1422 ๐Ÿ” 268 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 113 ๐Ÿ“Œ 10

Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and itโ€™s good sheโ€™s gone.

But this doesnโ€™t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

05.03.2026 19:38 ๐Ÿ‘ 40134 ๐Ÿ” 9048 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1488 ๐Ÿ“Œ 304

Iโ€™ve been asked if I would support Sen. Mullin as Noemโ€™s replacement.

The answer is a resounding NO. The rot in DHS is deep, much deeper than any individual.

Itโ€™s a question of policy not personnel. The Senate should not consider any DHS Secretary nominee until DHS and ICE are reined in.
