It’s a necklace I’m making for my granddaughter to help tell stories from the Mabanogi . There’s the boar with the golden comb. The white dog who is waiting for his red ears, and the Choughs are King Arthur’s bird because he turned into a chough when he died. The little silver flowers are 4 Blodwen

There’s a lot of newt activity in the pond this morning . I’m guessing the sunshine is making everyone feel a little frisky

I spotted hedgehog poo on the drive today. Always a happy moment when you know they’ve survived the winter

I love those elf cups they’re so red and cheerful

As I work on this icon, with rain drumming on the studio roof, I think about all the hedgehogs curled up asleep in their leafy beds. If you’re tidying up your garden please check carefully in all the places they might be before using the dreaded strimmer.

Stumpy the rescue lizard update. I just gave him some fresh moss from the garden into. He went straight in and tucked himself up in the middle of it. So cozy lizard under a moss duvet under the daylight bulb
