A 10-month old yellow husky mix lays on a blue dog bed, with a large cone of shame on his head, a bandage on his leg, and a shaved stomach with a large incision from his foreign-body removal surgery. He’s recovering well.

A PSA, in case anyone needs it: don’t eat your bed, there are very serious (and expensive) consequences.

The puppy is recovering well on day 5 post-op, but almost certainly would have died without surgery. Little stinker.

In one of his other responses, I thought the respondent said something about his daughter leaving certain settings (choir?) and he implied that that’s what Davidson should have done as well.

It seems like he’s saying his daughter *can’t* control her tics so she leaves some situations….and this person should have too.

I suppose it’s that the entire biennium is the “session.” The 2025-2026 session began in January 2025. So the statute is accurate, but both years operate the same way, and distinct from a special session.

I don’t think anyone thinks of the even year as a special session - it’s not called by the governor, and it functions just like an odd year session. With a special session, the Gov can call them in but they decide when they’re done and what they do, so they usually have a signed agreement in place.

This isn’t quite right. The legislature is in session in both years, although the odd year sessions are longer (Jan - May vs Feb - May), as a budget has to be passed. The gov can call a special session any time outside of regular session, and it often happens if they can’t pass a budget in time.

Maybe? But then why isn’t the two-person version called duobob?

It’s false, but if they are saying that “protests” have declined (even if not true) and they use it as cover to withdraw, that seems like not a bad outcome.
