Yeah the producer will definitely have a challenge on his hands if the the players come out wearing shirts, if supporters have anything going on, of if they pull a "everybody stand around for 30 seconds and do nothing at kickoff" type protest

store clerk with strong deep south accent trying desperately to interject and calm down some angry karen:
also back in the OG days Traffic Sports USA used to place fieldboards at Concacaf games they held the rights to featuring the OG Miami FC logo on it and "El equipo de las Americas" and I've always found it funny that Miami FC 2.0 literally put the entire Western Hemisphere on their logo
1) lulz @ MIAM (MIMI woulda been funnier)
2) I really dislike kits that just do "element from crest repeated over and over in an embossed/sublimated pattern"

A five-hour bargaining session on Wednesday between the USL and USLPA - with a mediator present - resulted in some movement on key issues, but the two sides still seem far away from agreeing on a new CBA.

For all the but how can we afford space exploration folks…this means we’ve already spent more on this war that started last week than Cassini cost in the 26 years it took to build, launch, and operate it.
The legend of this bumper sticker I saw the other day certainly lives on from the Chippewa on down
Fútbol is l̶i̶f̶e̶ a complicated societal construct that frequently creates intense internal emotional and moral conflicts far beyond what would be expected to emerge from a game involving kicking a ball

The most important thing about the Sporting JAX stadium location announcement is more non-FL people will be aware of this interchange on I-295, I mean look at that thing man
...and when the organ meat inevitably gets gentrified into hipness like chicken wings, brisket, oxtail etc we'll move to the "Purdue™ cricket meal is very affordable source of protein!" stage of capitalism lol
Good luck lads, go get em ✊
Three tiers:
Quite Nice: Angel City, Orlando, Chicago
Meh: Everybody else including the black Boston shirt
Bad: The other 3 expansion shirts
Great Value Pumas UNAM
Sasha a pure ray of light amidst the general ick of what one of the other star Cats has been up to the last few days
The issues w/ the league office being disconnected from the owners & lack of revenue sharing harkens back to the issues that led to the NASL splintering off.
Not sure something like that is likely to happen again, but they definitely gotta streamline the structure as they move forward
It very well may not matter in the end since the USL system won't be connected to the established top dog in MLS - investors could still be flaky and fans may not turn up in any different numbers.
But worth a shot to try something different than business-as-usual
Sure but NCFC randomly moving between 3rd tier & 2nd tier (not based on anything happening on the field), with no path to anything beyond, isn't exactly the same thing.
A L1 club being able to win their way up to D1 and beyond may not end up making a difference, but it's a scenario we've never had.
This.
We played Laredo Heat in 2013 and 2014 and both times that drew bigger crowds than when we hosted an MLS team (I think it was Dallas) because the former were included in the STH package.
On similar note, kudos to FTLUTD for giving STHs free tickets to the upcoming friendly vs the Pride.

...which is "be thankful the rich dude who controls the club really enjoys this hobby, and hope their actual business does well enough so that they don't run out of money"
USL has a very professional veneer & does have some very well run clubs & good stories.
But at the end of the the day w/ limited upward mobility, disconnect from top league+Concacaf, minimal sponsor/media rights money, & limited ownership configurations, it's the same animal it's always been.
Easily my favorite family kitchen schedule whiteboard sports game logo to date
Dropping out within weeks of the season starting, and USL allowing it to happen, is unacceptable.
This is a situation where you use the annual league dues and expansion fee money they've been banking and operate the club for at least this upcoming season.
Spare me the storytelling on this, the sky blue & "sage" (mustard gold) striping look so out of place.
I'm all for spicing up a boring template, but why would you include colors not in your branding anywhere else on an inaugural primary kit?
Would look much better w/ red/yellow from crest as trim
