I would strongly advise against any option other than getting your money back. This is not the first time they have screwed up production of something and most of those (ex. Rugrats NES carts) are still left unfixed well over a year later. Would be better if this company just went away...
Unfortunately needs a bit more than that. Green is a bit strong on it and the brightness needs a bit tweaked as I have the dial on the monitor set at its lowest and and contrast way down and it looks too bright and a bit washed out. Then the geometry is a simple adjustment.
23 written floppies later (plus like 3 more for random failures) and we have a desktop finally!
Hopefully this week I can pull the back off and do adjustments to the monitor.
Some say I will be doing this into 2027... The CD drive in this and both of my untested ones were bad. 🙃

It's awful. I worked at a big box retail for years before banking and there were so many people doing that they rolled out a corporate police that only a max of $500 in gift cards to other businesses were allowed to be sold per time block.
I work in banking an the number of older people that fall for scams because they don't know how to look at an email address is very sad. These companies really should prioritize safety over appearances.

Getting jumpers set correctly on this Evergreen CPU and now it's performing much more like I would expect it to! Before I was only getting a score of 218.

Well 16MB RAM stick was bad, CRT needs a lot of manual adjustment, but it booted a floppy! The hard drive was removed and I forgot about some Compaq’s in this era having bios config software on a partition. So we’ll have to sort that eventually.
Just pulled the board on it and a couple surprises. Two batteries? Also an Evergreen CPU upgrade?!
Picked up a thing on my lunch break today! Should have a 486DX2 @ 66MHz and 24 MB of RAM if it hasn’t been upgraded at all. I was told it currently doesn’t not post so I’ll be curious what I find when I get home. Hopefully a simple fix!

Seeing the title for the new .hack game immediately brought back flashbacks from and old Sonic forum/IRC server where a user with that name was frequently given a hard time. Mostly because he misspelled girls and grills once.
Idk why but this sluggish stiff gameplay just gives off vibes of Marvel Heroes from the Mattel Hyperscan.

This was my first adventure game like this and got it from a friend of mine who was not a fan of it. Was a lot of fun to solve and didn’t realize until years later this wasn’t originally an NES exclusive game and there were other games like this!
Needs red LEDs to go fast.
