I wrote this comic 2 years ago. I was terrified when I wrote it but had hope it wouldn't come to pass and would be a reminder of how bad things got before we pulled back.
It not only has, it has gotten even worse. This is absolutely terrifying and will destroy lives if passed.
This is what I need cis folks to understand.
It's been a decade.
Imagine living TEN FUCKING YEARS watching as a blatant, artificial campaign to erase your personhood, your identity and your safety chugs along, increasing in power every single day, and most people don't care or dismiss it

I wrote this and I put my all into itβan 80 page SF novella with complicated characters, big action, and some really exciting worldbuilding. Please sign up / consider pledging when itβs live on March 1!
A reminder than in these times of genAI: in order to support actual human creativity my DMs are permanently open to ANY new or aspiring comics creator (yes, including you) who has questions or needs feedback regarding writing, art, or the industry at large.
Ask βem if you got βem!
Really tired of Instagram constantly suggesting pro-AI posts to me no matter how many times I block them. They always start with 'this changes everything' & end with 'comment __ to find out more,' and, like, buddy, I already know it's a scam, you don't need to tell me with your whole chest.
If you have a VPN, I believe you can use it to switch your region to bypass the geo lock.
people who say that all creative endeavor can be replaced with AI probably need to reckon with the fact that all televised sports events with human athletes could easily be replicated by high-definition computer-animated simulationsβ¦.and yet we donβt do this and no one seems to want to.

I've been very excited to see Adobe's big improvement for InDesign 2026 has been to randomly corrupt my active file when I go to save it. Thrilling times, indeed.
And yet they're baffled at their poor reputation and stock performance...
If you are still using Pinterest for reference material, it's only going to get worse than it already is.
the cover of it's bitter, baby, and it's very sweet
page 1 of the comic; it says halloween, 1994, and there's halloween candy and toys, featuring a witch pez dispenser, a skull keychain, and a yellow finger monster
page 3 of it's bitter; corey and chelsea are dressed up for halloween and excited
I put my new comic up on itch! $8 for a 34-page horror story!
On Halloween night in 1994, two teenagers and their bully walk into a stranger's basement, and discover an uncomfortable secret about a girl they know.

3d printed panels of the Munsters' front doorway.
Too cold to use the resin printer this week, so I thought I'd start running off the pieces for my Munsters scene I'm working on. Still need to model the door knocker and handles.
I actually didn't use any 3D models on BK, that was just on the military short story.
I can't wait to start sharing the pages that have been going up on Patreon, but it's just the first six as a teaser before I pause for a bit while i get started on it properly. It'll probably be the back half of February/early March when I start posting them regularly here.
Data is correct, causal agency is (IMO) incorrect.
The vast majority of ppl who use AI to make images and video have never touched and would never touch Photoshop/AfterEffects/Illustrator/etc. The issue is Adobe trying to squeeze its users with subscriptions, and other customer-hostile behavior.
I'm also exhausted by the endless tool tips pop ups. I've disabled them every spot I can find them in Illustrator, and it's still trying to offer me tool suggestions for things I've been using for 25 years.
Maybe if they focused on keeping the apps from being absolute memory pigs, stopped all the fun new bugs from crashing them all the time, and stopped shoving AI promos in your face all the time, we might be able to use them again instead of looking for functional alternatives.
I always loved Sal's Spidey art, but I definitely agree on my dumb teenage self not appreciating that book enough at the time. Gonna fix that and give it a reread.
That's super frustrating. The whole point of the accountant is to prevent this, you'd think they'd have to be the ones to handle fixing it.
Eep! I had something very similar last year due to accidentally adding royalties twice. 10 months, 4 reviews, and one dispute resolution still in progress and the CRA still hasn't sorted it out and paid me back what they owe me, even though it's just correcting one line on their end.
A digital drawing of a small building in the middle of the desert all by itself, complete with a slab of sidewalk. The front of the building is yellow brick with a red awning. It could be some sort of store. It also doesn't appear to be abandoned.
Drawing stuff that would make good album covers, 3/?

Poster of a bloody hand with the text "Privatized healthcare's focus is profit not people"
Inspired by our provincial government's seeming drive towards privatization through mismanagement, this was the original text on the poster before I swerved towards corporations.
A comic cover. A cheeky, skinny man with red hair and a red suit is toasting the camera as he's sat flamboyantly in the lap of a burly guy with curly black hair, who's glaring at the first guy. They're sat in a giant wedding cake, collapsing it. The redhead is using his foot to hold up the cake topper, a stylised image of the bride and groom. Sticking into the cake is a giant wedding invite with the title, "Worst Man". In the foreground, falling like confetti, are dove feathers.
A five panel comics page, with four of the panels arranged vertically along the left hand side, over a splash panel. No lettering, as it's just a preview. Panel 1: a profile shot of a handsome guy's face. His head is angled down but he's looking up, grinning a little. His red hair is flopping over, he has a black eye, and a trickle of blood is running down from his nose. Panel 2: a shot from behind, showing off the guy's hands in handcuffs as he's sat in a steel folding chair. Panel three: the guy's got a teasing expression on as his interrogator, a large burly guy, walks behind him. We can't see the interrogator's face. Panel four: the guy's rolling his eyes. Splash panel: over the shoulder of the burly interrogator, looking down at the handsome guy. He's looking up at the interrogator, confidently smiling as he talks.
A comics panel. A skinny red-headed guy with a nose bleed, wearing a hotel uniform, is looking at the camera and shrugging a bit
Two panels of a comic. Both are set in a large, spacious hotel lobby, behind the reception desk and looking out towards the grand front door. Panel 1: a burly guy wearing a vest, pyjama bottoms and a belt with a gun and phone on it is gesturing a little awkwardly, looking embarrassed. A skinny guy wearing hotel uniform is looking a little embarrassed and shy. Panel 2: the skinny guy is now looking overwhelmed and supremely embarrassed. The burly guy is stiffly walking in a huge panic off the side of the panel.

I've always been a minimalist designer, and I just realized that everything I see for AI is the antithesis of that. No careful thought, just throwing as much as possible at the wall. No satisfaction of trying to chip away something to its base essence. 'Realism' and noise.
A stylized bloody hand lies on the ground, bleeding downwards above the text 'The Only Corporate Loyalty is Profit'
A poor man's riff on Saul Bass, but it was fun and got it out of my system.
well, there goes my β26 resolution to focus on drawing solely on paying work and pages and not just stuff i like that wonβt sellβ¦ bigfoot and wildboy.
