This Skunkworks book was the promised compendium but it was a very short run.
I’m capable of performing a very high quality capture on a scanner, and post processing is squarely my wheelhouse. The problem is volume - Skunkworks is 130 pages. Each page takes 4-5 minutes to lay down and capture, so 8-10 hours of free time.
Just, my scan wouldn’t be perfect. I started with the first 20 pages last week. Skunkworks is perfect bound with thin paper, so it’s difficult. I feel something is better than nothing…
Would the fandom be interested in me scanning and posting comics, zines and folios like this? Some is available on archive.org. Most artists and publishers are no longer able to profit from them.
About half of my vintage furry stuff I just have from my early days in the fandom.
It’s fascinating to read how 90s furs were apprehensive about Lion King (as in, “it’s Disney,” *eye roll*) yet it sparked the fandon of my entire generation of furs.
