I have acquired a floor loom and I finally have it warped!
It came with no cables and I replaced cords and ties. My husband even made a crank! I used the only blog post I could find to learn how to direct warp. I went slowly and made many mistakes. Fortunately they were all fixable.

I did it! I kicked my butt to get started on the next project.
I was concerned that the pattern yard was not thick enough. I was right. But at least it’s enough of a difference.

As a fed married to a fed, I’m not ok these days. I’m struggling to find motivation to do anything outside of work.
But I did just finish my next holiday table runner. No, it’s not Irish, but it’s green, so I’m using it for St Paddy’s Day.
Hoping to get my next one warped soon, but again…struggle…

Next project underway. Wishing I picked a lighter blue as it’s not distinguishable from the green in this setting. Hoping it sines out a bit after it’s washed. Ah, still learning.

We have had this conspiracy that the waste mgmt driver intentionally dumps the big front bin into the back of the truck in front of our house, leaving a mess of rubbish for us. Today we left out no bins for pick up.He still stopped in front of our house to dump the big bin into the back of the truck
Fortunately, the cap and lifetime limit would be illegal. If OMPP doesn’t quash it first, CMS would not approve this change. Would be great if they spent their time finding ways to improve Hoosier lives.
Thursday Murder Club Series
I have a package that shipped from IL on Dec 11, been sitting in Indianapolis since Dec 13.
I need one of these that says, “Just 2 more switchbacks.”
This is what some well meaning hikers said on a hike in Colorado. It was definitely not “just two more switchbacks” and continues to be an inside joke between my husband and me on rugged hikes.
Why did they do this to me???
And now my account says the entire pallet of cabinet parts was delivered. 🤬

It’s just garbage bins, right? It’s a pallet! *sigh*
The delivery guys are awesome and have to phone in to say we scheduled our delivery for the 21st and have no room for this pallet.
So they hand me not 3, but 1 garbage bin, get back in their box truck, apologizing for the inconvenience.
In store they say it can be delivered in a week. No, we thought it would take much longer and we don’t have room for a pallet. Ok, we can push it out another week, but these 3 garbages can’t be pushed out. That’s fine. A box truck show up today. They ask where it can go. I say on the porch. Really?
Correct the color on that item…
Even after we got home and combed through over a hundred lines of items, we still found errors. We call to make the corrections, are given a link to make the changes online, but there is no way to make these correction with the provided link.
Oh, IKEA. How many ways can an order be screwed up? Staff placed our cabinet order in store as observed. Staff printed out the order because for some strange reason, what is entered in the software seems to magically change. We had to remove 7 of this item for which we only wanted one,
