Then I asked who was born in the Netherlands and the same 300 hands slowly lowered back down into 300 deeply Midwestern American laps 🥲

Before the show in Edinburgh tonight I was standing outside the venue next to a poster with my face on it and this Scottish couple walked past.
The woman was staring at the poster and I said “that’s me!” she looked at me and said “really? that photo will have been taken several years ago then.”
