I respect the people who do these lists. I've communicated with some of the people responsible for them for many years. That said, they're best viewed as off-season fun and not a definitive view of future value/performance.

The utility of these lists is pretty damn limited, but they are a bit of fun off-season fodder.

I cannot remember any time when 5 of the top 10 players (per MLB Pipeline) in the #Astros system were guys who have only played at the rookie ball level (or not at all).

It would be very difficult not to have them in one's circle while living in Texas. I tend to try to weed out the most odious ones.
