I’ve learned from Senator Pappas since I first arrived in the legislature. Her visionary and collaborative work on statewide bonding projects is inspiring to me. Honored to have her endorsement.
This morning, I joined Adam and Jordana on NewsTalk 830 WCCO to discuss my plan for a Minnesota vaccine commission—to ensure Minnesotans have access to the best medical guidance.
The Minnesota Senate DFL is moving several ideas to curb gun violence including an assault weapons ban, limit on magazine capacity, and requirements for safe storage.
Yesterday, Lakeville schools went in to lock down due to an active shooter threat. We must move legislation to stop this regular trauma.
My campaign is supported by democrats from across the political spectrum of our party—not because we always agree, but because we trust each other, and know we can work together for the common good.
I’m so grateful for all the delegates who participated in Democracy yesterday—from LeSueur to Cottage Grove. The Minnesota spirit is strong. And I’m deeply grateful to the volunteers from my campaign who put in a full day supporting the good work. You all are the very best.
When ICE failed to render aid to Renee Good, she still had a pulse 6 1/2 minutes later. Yesterday, on the first day of legislative session, I co-authored a bill with the majority leader and other health care legislators that would give Minnesotans civil recourse in that circumstance.
Democrats continue to come out to connect in these dark days. The spirit of Minnesotans will prevail.
Investigations and accountability must occur for the reckless actions of ICE. Our work is not done.
If this is true, thank God. And the Minnesota resistance can be written among the annals of the great peaceful movements from all time. The memories of Renee Good, Alex Pretti, and all of the others harmed in our community must not be forgotten.
Klein for Congress is so proud to have the endorsement of the Minnesota Pipe Trades, the umbrella organization of many proud locals around the state of Minnesota.
Bruce Springsteen with a song that so well honors Renee Good and Alex Pretti and articulates what’s special about Minnesota. Thank you, Bruce!
Minnesota stood firm and stood together. Now, we have to keep working together to do better for all of our communities, because we can and must do better.

Physicians can’t administer effective care when our patients are too scared to come through the door. We can and must do better for our patients, and for everyone here.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to share your stories - you inspire me to keep working harder. It’s up to us to make sure we can all do better. (2/2)

Yesterday was a tragic day. Through it all, Minnesotans are standing up in every way they can to support each other. 150 of our neighbors showed up in Rosemount to talk about defending democracy and what we can do to keep our communities safe. (1/2)
Spent the day in Northfield talking with people from the community, and stood with them in their ICE Out of Minnesota protest. Minnesotans across our state are standing up in incredible ways for our immigrant communities, workers, small businesses, and each other. We can and must do better.
How is this okay? A child was chased down and tackled by federal agents in the freezing cold. In Minnesota, we take care of each other. We cannot accept any more of this here.
Renee Good was denied immediate medical care after being shot by an ICE agent. As a doctor, I’m appalled at what happened to her, and what’s happening in our communities.

Minnesotans will not tolerate this anymore. We will stand up for our values in this state. We will care for our neighbor, and we will shield our children from federally sanctioned abuse. www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
What ICE is doing is meant to spread terror and is actively causing patient to delay care out of fear. No one should be afraid to seek medical care because of the color of their skin or their immigration status. I promise to never stop fighting for my patients and constituents. (2/2)
For weeks ICE has been conducting unlawful searches and arrests of patients seeking medical care. Today, I had the honor of participating in the largest gathering of my fellow physicians that I have ever seen at the Capitol to push back. (1/2)
We must meet this moment with the same unyielding courage Dr. King showed. #MLKDay (2/2)
Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who taught us that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We are living through a time where the very foundations of our democracy are under attack. We cannot be silent. (1/2)
Join Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Senator Zaynab Mohamed, and me for a Town Hall on January 24th to discuss actions we can take to defend our democracy.
Stay strong and stay safe, Minnesotans.

Here’s my pledge: Nobody will take away a patient under my care.
