True accessibility cannot exist without including the voices of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the conversation.

Please chip in so Falco's things (including wheelchair/disability/medical equipment) don't get auctioned tonight!

N...no. it's not the job of the op/ed page to publish pieces that make a case for genocidal policies. Not unless that paper is alright with publishing support for genocidal policies.
Can we stop platforming hate and violence for the sake of "fair coverage" please?
Oh my goodness, I am so touched. I have never had a story reviewed before, and I'm honored by your words on my piece.
This story has been very dear to me since the day I wrote it, panicking about those times the world tries to silence our art. I have to believe our hearts endure.
The BBC & the BAFTAs are the villains here. At best this was gross negligence, at worst possibly intentional. Either way, the lack of care they demonstrated toward both the Black and disability communities is absolutely unacceptable. And the wave of misplaced outrage online has compounded the harm.
Hello all! Do you like having the internet? Do you like being able to post and not get sued or censored? Do you want to protect the smaller forums and bastions of community support?
Do you wanna say fuck you to Big Tech?
Then go look up Section 230 and TELL YOUR SENATORS TO PROTECT THAT SHIT.

I have a tip for all the big industries wanting people to spend money on their products:
Support an economy where our basic needs are met. We are not going to buy 80 dollar video games before we buy food, istg.
I underestimated how exciting it would be for my English husband that he can finally go buy me a beer.
Man AI feeder's only gonna be safe until they're got it all automated well enough to abandon all these desperate people they've hired.
SO for a glimpse at the internal world of someone with POTS...
My hubby was trailing his coat behind him down the stairs and I accidentally stepped on it. I then had to stop everything and do a quadratic equation to figure out how to get off the thing without falling over.

A preview graphic ad for an internet store front depicting a Dragon Ball Z print preview, a hand panted totebag of a skull and moon, as well as a sticker of a cat playing with a star. Text reads: Prints! Stickers! And more! Each purchase unlocks exclusive supporter content!
Hey friends, no joke here. I had some car troubles, and could use a little extra $$. So please check out my shop I'm really terrible at advertising! Hey, I'm an artist not a marketer. Please consider supporting me today <3

Share, give a few dollars if you can. Just like they say on every charity stream you've ever seen: even one dallor makes a difference, especially if a few thousand people donate.
Let's not let them fight alone.

Looks like Tiktok is going the way of Twitter. Alas. How could we have seen this coming.
Let's not forget about the Epstein files in all this.
"I don't know" can be weaponized into one of the most infuriating ways to end a conversation. A problem arises, someone asks for help, and someone says "I don't know" and checks out. And bam. The problem stays. Help isn't given, nothing improves.
'idk' should be a starting point, not a shut down.
Just did the actually picking up the phone and calling senators/congressmen thing today. Turns out it's incredibly quick and low effort.
Calling and leaving clear messages has the most impact of any contact save in-person, so I encourage you, do it. Check out 5calls.org for easy guides.
I'm about writing and witchery, but a good witch also takes care of the community. If you live in NC, think about signing the NC Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty's petition. Each name gives their efforts more legitimacy.

SO EXCITED!
Trope map of ALEX, BY PROXY. The cover is overlaid onto a starry background, surrounded by text identifying tropes or story elements of the book. These include: β’ mental illness rep β’ chaotic found family β’ exploration of true crime genre β’ podcast that grows more and more unhinged β’ overthinking MC + best friend who's never had a single thought in his life β’ what happens AFTER the Munchausen syndrome by proxy reveal β’ podcast transcripts, news, articles, letters
Blurb of ALEX, BY PROXY. Blurb reads: HARROWING NEW DETAILS IN βMONSTER MOMMYβ CASEβ¦ SHOCKING INFORMATION SURFACES AS βMONSTER MOMMYβ CASE HEADS TO TRIALβ¦ HOW COULD A MOTHER POISON HER SON? Welcome to sixteen-year-old Alexβs life, ripped straight from the headlines. Alex is a victim of Munchausen by proxy, but heβs also a witty, sarcastic kid with unusually good crossword skills and a penchant for astronomy. At least he used to be. Now that heβs recovered from years of illness induced by his mother, he sort of has to figure out who he is all over againβ¦ And most importantly, heβll have to decide if he can testify against the woman who gave birth to him. As Alex awaits the trial, his friends convince him to start a podcast as a way to tell his story. Lethal Lullaby brings Alex closer to his old lifeβhanging out with friends, cracking jokes, having funβbut at the same time, dark memories surface, forcing Alex to acknowledge that the podcast could be making things worse. It seems like heβs got deeper issues than heβd like to admit, and this time, he canβt blame them on his mom. Day by day, Alexβs mental health crumbles, until he can no longer distinguish between truth and fiction. Should he trust himself to testify? And if he gets up there, what version of the truth will he share?
ALEX, BY PROXY is now available for preorder (see link in bio), and will be published 7/21/2026 with Holiday House!
NC peeps, there's a swanky new tool for keeping our communities safe. Here's the rundown.

Too often, conversations about #disability inclusion in faith communities focus only on access: ramps, captions, or sign language interpreters. While these are essential, they are only the first step. True inclusion means more than presence; it means belonging. Learn more at the link below!
A sad truth we must put up with to help include our blind and visually impaired friends.
Sometimes I wish I could make parents understand the sort of pain a child has to be in to go no contact. It's incredibly hard to fight that instinct to seek a parents love. You have to break your own heart.
Every year, in like clockwork, when the world gets colder my brain gets slower. So far I'm getting words down via freewrites, frequent walks, and talking to myself.
Ah, to long for the spring bloom, when my body thaws and fibro calms tf down.
