I don’t want to minimize real opinions that get mixed in, but I knew immediately that divisive astroturfing was going to be all over this primary. This was like chummed waters. There’s no shortage of dubious accounts trying to shape a narrative or push people apart.
There seemed to be a big variety of people willing to welcome that into the broad coalition trying to fight fascism & make a positive difference. Since the primary, I’ve suddenly started seeing a bunch of wild claims, which I don’t understand how anyone gleaned from any of his interviews or speeches
I remember when I first heard of Talarico back when he walked out with other TX Dems to delay the Republican gerrymandering effort. People seemed to find it refreshing that a Christian was reclaiming religion from MAGA and using it to advocate for progressive values and separation of church & state.

USUALLY presidents getting blame or taking credit for gas prices (or local crime rates, or etc etc) is dumb, because it’s a commodity whose price is set on a global market, USUALLY for reasons having little to do with the White House’s occupant. But this is 100% directly Trump’s fault.
