surely another game as a service will fix everything :)
wtf, the industry has just been actively collapsing in front of our eyes for years now and seemingly there's no end in sight.
Indie games.
But yeah it's really fun to see this game evolve, I'm a big believer in this game being massive once it gets a public release.
If you don't have access let me know and I can send you an invite.
You pick a set of 3 at least heroes before queuing but you can give some of the heroes in your pool a hire priority so people are reliably getting strong comps.
The deadlock take on ARAM randomness is the items. The shop is gone and you pick 1 of 3 random items x3 at the start of each round.
I will say that the game mode has amazing potential though. It feels great to be able to play deadlock without committing to a full on core game.
Also, I'm sure that this will be resolved in the matter of days in a patch since a small change to hero selection or ult cooldowns would solve it.
Since the game mode is literally just a one big team fight in a single lane heroes like Seven, Bepop, Lash and McGinnis are very popular picks due to their team fight focused ults.
Running into a comp made of these guys is just extremely oppressive in this game mode.
I think that core has enough space (in terms of map size, game time and farming) to allow for dynamic games even with an established meta.
This game game mode throws everyone into a single lane with their ults ready to use on round 1 which in the case of some heroes is extremely oppressive.
it took 3 days for gamers to optimize the fun out of the new deadlock game mode
new deadlock patch rocks

Anyone else bough Geometry Wars just to play Pacifism mode back in the day? Anyways, here's a preview of what a challenge wave might look like in the next SHAPESHOOTER patch.

I've discovered Riichi Mahjong last week. I can already tell that this game will be a life-long problem for me.
SUPER SHAPESHOOTER IS 40% OFF!
Not because of the Steam Sale but because the game just came out! Buy it and if you like it leave a favourable review. My boss said that if I don't hit 10 reviews before the end of next week I'm fired.
(btw i am my own boss)

I LOVE ALITERATION
I heard that we have a #wishlistWednesday here.
My game is out and currently on a deep launch discount BUT if early access release isn't your thing then a Wishlist is still appreciated!

the future of computer is you can't buy one. that's good for the economy, somehow.
you're not the only one so that part of the tutorial might see a change lol
There's an argument to be made that locking things away will force the player to engage with more of the game since they will most likely use what they have and then try the things they've unlocked along the way rather than instantly falling into a single build/loadout.
But mostly it's the dopamine
Yesterday I posted a reel to IG while telling my gf "I literally get 0 traction on this platform"
Today I woke up to a 1k+ views and actual engagement with likes and comments.
lol, lmao even.
So many awesome indie games in this showcase! #15seconds
