my eyes felt better (which I'm very thankful for), no panic attack, made my Dad lunch and dinner, made a very pretty sounding FM Rhodes-ish piano having played a lot of improv throughout the day as a nice thread, and I even made time for win32 C programming
and the gall microsoft had 6 years or so ago to announce "WE MADE A NEW TERMINAL !!!". how abysmal is that
the terminal is so god damn S L O W .
guys. this is a solved issue already. for decades. 50+ years. we've mastered command line. we're displaying fortnite at 120fps on an 4k display, WITH IN GAME CHAT AND TEXT, but you for some reason can't make a terminal feel not sluggish...why
it has raised to a 4/10. it's actually so pitiful how slow core things are on a thoroughly (and carefully) debloated machine. I went today on my old Dell laptop from 2015, and it running arch linux was faster feeling than my 2022 ultra beast pc running Windows 11.

the difference going from wired 16 bit 48khz to 24 bit 96khz is ungodly. wow. this was just a part of my pc the entire time??? I had no idea the audio portion of my build was so goated. I just assumed the audio port would sound ass like every port I've used on cheap hardware. NOPE. NOT AT ALL.
