A shrine to the Egyptian cat goddess Bastet Assemblage by Chris Fischer Shout out to all the cat ladies out there; Bastet (Egyptian goddess of protection, pleasure, and good health) and I are with you all the way. This assemblage shrine is a nod to my love of ancient Egyptian mythology and cats. The head and body (toy and ceramic statuette, respectively) are attached with epoxy clay, housed in a little box, bricks carved out and hieroglyphics added, along with lots of acrylic paint, caulk, tile, burlap, etc.
