The most disturbing part about the orange Mussolini’s post is the insinuation that Canada is something to be devoured by the US or China. The corrupt, fat F is worried about getting “leftovers” in terms of Canada. No wonder we don’t want much to do with the US going forward.

After a long bout of walking pneumonia followed followed by full blown pneumonia this has been the first weekend in many weeks/months I’ve been able to enjoy and not just be bedridden. Happy and grateful to be recovering.

As I’ve stated over and over again, not my country. Easy for me to opine. If something horrible like this was happening in Canada I would certainly have to carefully consider my actions. I’m just shocked at how Americans have bellowed for decades about freedom and democracy only to hand it over.
Canadians are just plain angry and scared at how we have been treated. We don’t and can’t view the 51st state crap as a joke. It’s an existential threat to us. Canadian nationalism has never been higher and it looks like we are remilitarizing…just not w us kit. Returning to our European roots.
I get it & again, I’m not living it so I don’t have to make the hard choices. After a lifetime of hearing Americans scream over the border about democracy it’s rather sad to see it die w very little resistance. My country has been forced to make hard choices regarding our relationship w the USA.
I heard a professor speak recently and he stated that with wanna be fascist regimes people have 3 choices 1) get out and fight for democracy 2)put on the brown armband 3)lock your doors and hope they don’t knock on your door. Again, not an American but perhaps time to make your choices if you are.
Speaking as Canadian, it’s about time Americans started to protest in the streets in a meaningful way. I’m shocked and disappointed it’s taken this long.
