14 years ago today, March 1, 2012: The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released in North America for iOS. It was developed and published by EA Mobile.

After more than 80 million downloads and grossing more than $200 million, the game was officially shut down on January 24, 2025.

I remember all the publicity leading up to this episode, and then covering it on Wikisimpsons.

@mikepriceinla.bsky.social Hi, bit of an odd question, but was Sarah Wiggum actually voiced by Megan Mullaly in "Parahormonal Activity"? I ask because she sounds off and actually sounds like it could be Dawnn Lewis voicing her. But it could also be Mullaly putting on a slightly different voice.
