But let's take the current BBC front page as an example: one article about the video; none about Trump's name in the Epstein files.

I don't want to compare these issues or suggest that racism isn't a big deal (because a/ it is, and b/ it's not my place as a white woman to hold that debate) but I just wish I was seeing similar levels of outrage from major media sources.

The fact that Trump's racist video against the Obamas is being called out by most mainstream news outlets? Great. The video is absolutely appalling.

But I wish mainstream media had as much outrage against the countless allegations of sexual assault, human trafficking & child abuse.

The leader of Scottish Labour is currently embroiled in a scandal relating to Mandelson (and by extension Epstein), but has instead decided to waste time promising to be transphobic and send trans women to male prisons.

Anas Sarwar should be ashamed of himself. Transphobia doesn't win elections.

Want to boost this a little as I've seen folk talking about how Anas Sarwar wants to remove trans women from women's prisons - because in his actual column he makes clear it isn't just prisons. It's everywhere.
