I created this hand-printed lithography in 2018. It is part of my project CAN THIS BE TOMORROW?

EMBRACE THE FUTURE is a fictional advertising campaign that celebrates renouncing consumption as a hedonistic, sensual and fulfilling lifestyle.
The book is aimed at people in the Global North whose consumption-oriented lifestyles are mainly responsible for the climate crisis.

I don't know weather you use generative aI in your campaigns or not. But anyway I would like to mention its huge resource and energy consumption. Unfortunatly this is widely ignored.

In my art project CAN THIS BE TOMORROW?, I created a series of fictional comic book covers in the style of the American Golden Age comics. Inspired by fantasists
like Aldous Huxley, George Orwell or Phillip K. Dick, the artworks illustrate a bygone vision of
current events.

My art project EMBRACE THE FUTURE propagates a system change that aims for a circular economy. Economic growth, emissions and resource consumption have not yet been decoupled from each other. And the window of time we have left to avoid irreversible tipping points is getting smaller and smaller.
