Can’t quit my nonprofit job but I would donate every hour I have to help the lawyers put them away.

He was a friend of my ex-husband’s who I got to know and hang out with quite a bit when he and his wife lived in Brooklyn. He is an incredibly good and cool guy.

Ellison: "In other words, we didn't vote for him, so we can't have justice? Also, no president I've ever heard of received a $400m plane from a country trying to curry favor, crypto deals...he's truly distinguished himself in the area of corruption, so for him to call MN corrupt is quite remarkable"

The affordable housing targets should be step one. If rich developers don’t want to build affordable housing fund nonprofit developers to do. This is no different than the City giving tax breaks to companies b/c they promise new jobs and then they never do it. There has to be consequences.

To fix the housing problem you need to remove any tax deductions and add a vacancy tax to landlords who keep more than 1 apartment vacant. I would also add a massive massive tax to foreign builders that goes specifically to paying for new housing.

We Did It, Texas Dems, We Did It Candidates in every legislative, statewide, and federal race. Now it’s time to build power where it counts.

Texas Democrats just did something historic under the leadership of new state party chair @kendallscudder.bsky.social. We have filed a candidate in EVERY 2026 race.

U.S. Senate: 1 of 1
U.S. House: 38 of 38
State Senate: 15 of 15
State House: 150 of 150
State Board of Education: 8 of 8

The thing is if you can’t figure out how to have a platform and messaging of improving both the material and economic conditions of Americans AND the rights and safety of all Americans you aren’t qualified to be an elected official.

Just to be clear: Minnesota will continue to be guided by science and medical expertise.

While Trump and RFK wage war on vaccines and decades of science, I took executive action to safeguard vaccine access in Minnesota and prioritize the health and safety of our children.

Yes. We also need to not treat tech and AI like it just happens and focus on the individuals behind the tech and what their motivations are. The current tech leaders and companies have never demonstrated concern for the environment or workers so we should learn from that and push back more.

That's the part that sticks with me.

This isn't some Tom Clancy novel where they do war crimes because it's the only way they can get at the evil terrorist criminal mastermind or something.

Even if we believe them -- and, ha ha, no! -- they murdered low level drug runners. That's it!

Everyone is embracing AI b/c they fear missing out on the next tech revolution. While the fear of being left behind or not getting rich is real, what we miss is that in previous tech revolutions we didn’t fight hard enough to center humans & we’re doing it again.

I don't think the Justices understand the extent to which they are playing with fire. The more they do this, the more District Courts will engage in open disrespect of the Supreme Court, because what other response is there to open disrespect directed at them? That's bad for the Judiciary, period.

People will say the Nazi comparisons go to far but you study enough on the Nazis in the 1930s and the comparisons really are spot on.

You even had the Earned Income Tax Credit, a very progressive anti-poverty measure, passed by a Republican president. But that was a long time ago.

It is completely disgusting but also another sign of their stupidity when you realize the large pockets of poor
MAGA voters in many blue states like NY.

If this was at possible it would be great in the immediate term but also very important for the long term as it could get area like the NYC metro area to think more about to tackle jobs, housing and transportation across NY, NJ and CT instead of the current siloed system.

Off the top of my head Columbia, Virginia, Brown, Cornell and NYU but NYU is more because of the medical center’s response to transgender care for young people.

I’ve been keeping a mental grudge list as I have twins applying for college next year and I don’t need to give money to schools who can’t stand up to Trump.

It isn’t just trust. When medical care is too expensive & the gov’t provides no support, people look for their own answers. W/autism for example it is easier for parents to focus on how vaccines harmed their kid than it is to accept they are out there alone with no support.
