the alternative to doing this is extremely bleak. courage is in short demand and supply. we need to flood the market and make people remember that actually realizing what we have in common and building from there is a commodity that everyone wants over violence.

the longer i stay completely off of social media, meaning not even a peak, i suddenly feel a lot less hostile towards others, and a lot more curious about them. and you have to take into account i built a big online reputation by being "reasonable and kind" and far-left.

as an avid consumer of nuance, i can tell you that there actually is an audience for that, they just probably aren't on social media because people are truly just saying the most wild thing they can say to see if it does the numbers.
