Why does it keep getting harder?

Whoosh that went over my head lol. Thanks for clarifying.
I have had explain to multiple people in my area over the years that our local gas station chain is not responsible for their high fuel prices.
The gas stations make most of their profit from the snacks, drinks, tobacco, etc sold in store—not from gas. They’re gonna be hurting too as people have less to spend in store after filling up.
That’s actually quite impressive. 😹
This is the kind of email my cat sends when I leave my laptop open at home.
Or “anti-choice”
Talarico is competent, compassionate and speaks with great clarity. He reminds me of Buttigieg in the way he holds respectful yet firm debates.
Jen kind of lost me back in 2016 when she seemed to favor Trump over Clinton—ironically because of her anticipation that it would lead to regime change. I will still listen occasionally but that kind of attitude is what landed us where we are today.
Corruption aside, there’s no incentive for the gov to sell the house for anything above the tax owed—so why would they care?
On the flip side, you could just stop paying taxes & the government will sell for you and guarantee “market value.”
Both seem problematic-seems a middle ground is warranted.
That woman is fierce. I can see the pain and frustration radiating from her. Her control and clarity in recounting these horrible things is powerful. I’m overflowing rage against those who hurt her or enabled or excused those who hurt her.
Even if you’re not intentionally using a chatbot, just googling gives you an answer (that’s not always right) and disincentivizes the need to dig further into articles and resources to verify sources, gain context and synthesize answers.
An orange cat on a shelf above an unsuspecting gray striped cat. The orange cat raising his paw—about to start something.
Yes, chaos ensued immediately after I took this photo. #caturday
I had never been in a room including more middle-aged white men pissed off at the GOP than I did while attending a forum on global trade and tariff impact in November. I sensed then that SCOTUS would actually rule this way, but I don’t expect deflation or payouts to offset the harm to end consumers.
I don’t know if you’ve ever done the “what would I do if I had 3 wishes” conversation—my son loves those—I imagined that elimination of mental illness would be my first wish. Without narcissism, psychopathy, sociopathy, it seems like there wouldn’t be billionaires, fascists, and rampant cruelty.
This is disgusting.
My mother remarried when I was young and didn’t have the same last name as me when I was in school.
I changed my last name primarily because I wanted the same last name as my children.
Still, if I could wind back the clock 17-1/2 years, I’d keep my maiden name.
Orange cat and gray striped cat caught on camera violating repeated orders to stay off of the dining table.
I didn’t grow up with house cats, and I always considered myself solely a dog person. I caved to my daughter’s begging three years ago. And now, I look forward to their snuggles and shenanigans every day. #caturday
It’s been over 10 years but I vividly remember interviewing a job candidate who repeatedly referred to himself in the third person. It was the shortest interview I ever held.
I have long felt that our healthcare system stymies entrepreneurialism and innovation. Many people are chained to jobs at larger businesses because of healthcare. And, it makes it harder for small businesses to compete against large businesses for talent.
Whelp, spent almost 2 hours in the queue on my mobile and desktop but failed to secure tickets for my daughter for #noahkahan at Wrigley Field.
Annoyingly, it kept showing me 3 single tickets but wouldn’t let me purchase any of them.
😭
My immediate reaction was trying to figure out when and where cans of Jack were sold and how I didn’t know about this canned whiskey…
…at least a full minute later before I understood that you use the emptied juice concentrate can.
I think I should call it a night. 💤
There is too much money in politics. Hopefully California voters pay attention to who is funding what. www.politico.com/news/2026/02...
AIPAC did Andy dirty.
Just wrote @peters.senate.gov asking him to use the remainder of his term to push for a new leader. Schumer’s priorities are clearly misaligned with what most Americans want and need.
I’m in Michigan and it is bitterly cold here, yet still not as low as Minneapolis.
If you’re in a warm climate, you cannot really understand or appreciate the literal pain those people are going through to show up at protests. Minnesotans are tough stuff.
I make this almost once a week. www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/butter-chick...
My daughter doesn’t eat meat or poultry and the guys won’t give up theirs, so I split the sauce before adding chicken and make batches with chicken and with seasoned tofu cubes.
It’s a family favorite.
I get “internal bleeding” when I bump into my coffee table or clip my elbow on a door frame. I can imagine forcefully slamming your hand onto the hood of a car could create a small bruise, too.
Sorry for your loss 💔
For small business to thrive, affordable health care is a key component. High cost of small group plans is a major barrier to entrepreneurship and to attracting talent to work at small businesses. Especially for those with dependents, healthcare may keep them in a job they don’t want at a large corp
A orange kitty with white face and chest loafs on a freshly cleaned black sweater.
Milo says to call your senators and representatives and demand the defunding of ICE. Allowing this corrupt and violent agency to persist is negligent. It is beyond “reigning in” as they snub any oversight and lie openly and without accountability. #caturday
