New blog post: Building A Dev Tool
Enjoy!

I just asked my 5th question of StackOverflow. Can anyone of you answer this?
stackoverflow.com/questions/79...
If you ever wondered
"How can I give something back to this nice dude Dominik?"
here is your chance. You can purchase my new app Balloonsdays. The app helps you to remember the birthdays of your loved ones. At least it helps me a lot.

A chart showing my spoon history of the last 14 days using the spoon theory of managing my daily mental energy.
Daily Spoons now shows a chart of your spoon history. This might help to identify pattern.

Hey USA, if you survive all of this you might consider to get rid of this pardoning right of your presidents. That is kind of a problem for democracy.
Among other things.
Are you counting spoons? Are pacing?
My app might help you with this. It now keeps the history of your past days. This might help to find patterns. The history can be exported as CSV to send it to your medical practitioner.

@daveverwer.com Thank you for featuring "100+ Xcode Tips" in your newsletter!
This showed several flaws of the app and I realized that the app actually does not work.
So hallelujah for beta testers!
Context: During the last month or so I build another birthday reminder app with SpriteKit. I loved the idea and it was fun working on it. Then I invited beta testers and two of them had way more contacts with birthdays than I have. Way way more.
Beta testers of my former upcoming app just saved me a lot of time.
One problem of Xcode.tips is that it's not easily searchable.
So I created a DocC package with all the tips (and more). You can view it on dasdom.dev/xcode.tips/d...
And if you like to access it right within Xcode, you can purchase the package on Gumroad.
I replaces the doccarchive with a zip. Please try if this now works for you, when you have time.
If it doesn’t work, please ask for a refund.
Oh, this is strange. I tested it with my Xcode and it worked.
Does this mean you can’t use it?
Thank you for your trust and for purchasing the package!
Yes, you need to import it.
Are you using Xcode 16?
Double click it. Then it should install in Xcode.
Finally '100+ Xcode Tips' is finished! Get more than 100 Xcode tips that install themselves right into Xcode.

My program to solve the second part of day 6 of Advent Of Code needed more than five hours to compute. 🤯
You need Xcode.tips in Xcode itself! Get it here:
