Ah I was only there in summer when I was ~ 14 (?) so there were dinosaurs + Rome had not yet fallen.

In #TheObolonkMurders, Rachel Gifford is a mousey poor lil rich girl racist vs aliens. She teams w/televangelist Ted Moore + they recruit an army of suicide bombers, particularly going after Mods, who are assimilated Obolonks. Nasty to our heroine. I think readers want Peri to punch her in the mouth

I hear that. Then Saskatchewan or PEI it is. I haven't been to Canada in decades. It would be lovely to drop in again.

This calls for a road trip to meet halfway (Maine? Michigan?) and basically just chow down wherever and whenever, punctuated with writing sessions. :D

That there's some 8th Amendment level cruel + unusual punishment right there.

Look for cholesterol-lowering margarine and the like. We eat Smart Balance and it can help. Same with olive oil, walnuts, and other monounsaturated fats. Also, the lowering of cholesterol levels is another reason to do aerobic exercise.
