Fascinating to see the redeveloped Birmingham City Museum and Gallery emerge with some members of the Wilberforce House Museum Advisory Board yesterday. Packed with young Brummies keen to engage with their city's past, and exciting to see how the city portays its imperial story.
Birmingham sunrise!
The beauty of fairground rides.
Highlight of the week was meeting colleagues from Mariupol State University. They needed no introduction to the places I have researched, but did not realise people, goods and ideas from Ukraine shaped Hull. A thought provoking meeting on the 1000th day of Russia's brutal invasion of their homeland.
River Hull earlier this week. Great to see river craft moored alongside the museums.
Loved exploring Leeds this week.
