Notwithstanding the limitations of the FES, the value of scenarios seems to have been lost. Let's hope the future is as predictable as the last 5 - 10 years.

Interesting to see that @ofgem.bsky.social published guidance to @neso-energy.bsky.social on producing Future Energy Pathways, which show "what 'must' happen" to meet net zero and be specific about the investment needed. The Scenarios, "presented as equally credible outcomes" (?) are no more.
