I know I can only speak for myself, however, in Ontario, Ford has really put a huge damper on our healthcare and our education. In Kingston, we had a few walk-in clinics, most of them are closed now. Our hospitals, one has reduced hours. We also received info. asking us to avoid going if we could.
I know it is different now but at least it isn't being favoured. I believe Canadians just want life to be fair across the board. I know you can't just make the rich pay for everything. However, to drop it so much when they took so much off our social programs and no one has fixed it, was wrong.
Mark, can you take a look at the changes that were done by Mike Harris. They cut social programs by 21.7,%. I am glad to see taxes went up for those making larger incomes because when the Conservatives had control they moved taxes down from 45% to 17% for anyone earning 100,000 or more.
