I’m not housebound but I am a serious homebody with persistent fatigue/exhaustion symptoms, so I can relate to an extent. Social media has been a relief but it started to feel too overwhelming/negative and wasn’t worth it anymore. I miss ye olde LiveJournal. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore 🥲

My main complaint about the office is that I feel too perceived too much and too often despite not sitting directly next to anyone. lol. Keeping myself going by bringing in a little deco (coasters in photo) and my thumb mug to stay caffeinated. Little things.
Now if I can just remember to check BlueSky more regularly haha. My main social media has been cooked.wiki/user/asunnys... since I’ve been down several layers of rabbit holes of making things from scratch
lol they would restrict you for that, gross of them. But yeah I deleted it back in February and haven’t missed it at all.
Since I deleted Meta, I’ve mainly been keeping up with news via podcasts and #feeeed app (RSS reader-highly recommend). Feeling overwhelmed by the news has been lessened since I can choose my sources and topic. You can roll up BSKY, Reddit, and other sources too.

I keep forgetting to check Bluesky lately. Anyone else enjoying #weirdlinkedin? Quitting/deleting all Meta apps in February was a huge balm to my mental health btw. It’s been a massive relief to not be at the mercy of Zuckgorithms and all those intrusive ads. #fuckzuck #quitmeta #saveyourself
