a bust 3D model of D'arce from the RPG game Fear and Hunger, with a golden halo around her head reminiscent of classical religious paintings. She is standing in the darkness, The lighting on her face is iridescent, D'arce is looking forward, sombrely. The textures have a hand-painted quality as some paint strokes are visible.

A fantasy tower of mathematical symbols, floating in the sky and forever foundation-less. The obelisks hovering around it represent undecidable problems โ statements that can never be proved, thus never reachable from the central structure. #Art by Olena Shmahalo
An old one (2020) I still love. I was barely getting back into "serious" illo / painting & challenged myself with an architectural piece; something I hadn't done much of before. It took forever! But worth it; still a favorite.

They're really good just fried with some salt! You need to pick them really young though cause they mature really quick and just turn into dust (hence the name)

Thinking of making a tutorial on this, would it interest anyone?

It is to some extent yeah, they really managed to fit loads of different character archetypes in there though, it's definitely worth the watch, one of the best shows I've ever seen for sure!
It's a French studio so idk if it quite applies to your point though. I still loved Arcane, it was fantastic, that part just really surprised me. Idk though maybe I interpreted it wrongly too, it just really seemed like it was inevitable.
Have you seen Arcane? A similar thing happens, the narrative kept pushing one of the characters into suicide/sacrifice and presenting it as the only way to make up for her mistakes, which I found to be really surprising. I think a story about overcoming odds would be more pertinent?

A menacing figure stands on the husk of a dead alien tree in a bleak wasteland. He's dressed in ornate purple and black robes with hood drawn up. His gloved hands reach out to the bone white limbs that frame him. The ground is black and strewn with human bones. The sky is a mix of acidic orange and gray-purple.
