I got the certificate, but that was mostly because I think they do a great job with making education available to those who have less. I have enough money to afford that. It makes me happy if that money helps a little to reduce the barrier for others :)

2011 MB pro + 16 GB RAM + 1 TB SSD. I wanted to put #Linux on it since no maintained OS X is available. THEN I discovered OpenCore Legacy Patcher (dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Leg...). Now I have Sonoma running smoothly on it. Take that Apple and your planned obsolescence.
... allerdings gibt es ja schon Gesetze die vieles einschränken würden. Musk hat ganz klar Wahlmanipulataion betrieben ... allerdings braucht er sich kein Stück vor Verfolgung fürchten. Solange diese Menschen außerhalb des Rechtssystems existieren helfen auch die besten Gestze nichts.
