This negates the purpose of establishing "dark sky communities" and minimizing the ambient light emitted by homes and businesses so that people can enjoy the night sky.
Not to mention exacerbating the problem of space junk.

When I first started my bookseller page I faced the same quandary. And I came up with the same answer: "Yes, book sales are nice, but more than anything, I just want to talk about my work and make some connections and friends!"

Turned out it was a First.
It wasn't about the money, but rather finding something rare and wonderful.

My first "find" as a newly self-designated bookseller was a hardcover copy of "Charlotte's Web", sans DJ, that I bought on instinct; I loved the story as a kid.

Thank you for the information on Ursula Nordstrom, I love adding to my bookish knowledge.
Her goal of elevating books for young people reminds me of Helen Ferris of the Junior Literary Guild (not making a comparison).
