Love how you used the iconic font and new art!
As we enter the second half of Issue 13's reading period, we would love to see more transhumanist or cyberpunk flash fiction.
We have a fair number of longer dystopian works, and want to round out with our futuristic meat and potatoes
Sister, Maiden, Monster by Lucy A. Snyder
Only 1 hour into the Flesh Fiction LL episode and wanted to shout that I found @elisescott.bsky.social's commentary and discussion to be really insightful!
Yep, I think I'll need these on my shelf!
I know I was such a pain in the ass to work with π

Oh oh, I use Airtable and am loving it!
I just read it and I loved it in an insane way.
Now if I could only send this to people close to me in my life without sending it to them... It's mind boggling to me that my biggest support pillars (aside from partner, ofc) are people I've met through a screen.
(Confidently posting here bc they do not follow and therefore will not see this π)
Congrats!
If we're going by you and me, I'd say it's normal!
Oh, I've had this one in my back pocket for a while.
Yourself but as a cartoon
Ashlee Lamon Quote overlay that says, "And if youβre chortling and saying well, thatβs not my problem, you might be right. But youβre here, reading this β youβve read this far β so, you know. Itβs worth asking yourself: do your characters really have reasonable and compelling options constantly presented to them as they pursue whatever their goal is?"
Get a little deeper on character conflict with Ashlee Lhamon in her substack, The Pulp Pit.
If I were an agent, I'd snap it up. π
I don't think you know how much I love this story π€£π€£
The snippets I've been mercifully offered are to die for. I hope to see this complete soon! β€οΈ
There's a publishing auction for charity running at the end of this week with a BUNCH of wonderful critique, books, art, and bookish items for donations to organizations that help immigrants and low-income communities experiencing the threat of ICE.

Well that was a lovely story. Hope the judges think so, too. A huge thanks to my goblins for their swift and pointed feedback.

I love that figure 6 of "France En LβAn 2000" is basically a metaphor for AI, though it could be more apt if the children were represented as sieves and the information as water.
GeeβI got the page number wrong on my first post, so here is the correct page and post! π€
I'm so excited to see my story "Waste-fed, Beast Born" on page 16, alongside so many awesome writers!

Well, if you received new knives during the holidays, this is your 6-stitch reminder to adjust your dull knife habits. πͺ
To help my vast threads feel more manageable, I'll need:
Supplies.
Dedicated time slots.
Dedicated space.
I'll need to research and think about my organizational options, what would be most useful for my specific needs, and discern my non-negotiables.
