Amidst all the awful news, bumblebees are just getting on with life. This blue Salvia is always abuzz with bumblebees

An image of a large nebula structure that dominates the majority of the frame. There are two nebula in the structure: the Running Man, which is the smaller of the two and sits above and to the left of the larger Orion Nebula. The Orion Nebula dominates the majority of the frame. It's shape consists of a milky-white shell surrounding a deep red center. There are teal blue stars dotting throughout the image.

Here's an HOO look at the Orion Nebula (M42). I've been wanting to shoot this for years but never had a horizon line that would cooperate with me.

Three bell fungi of the same species spring forth from the moss covered forest floor. Their stems start out a dark reddish brown graduating to a lighter reddish brown before finally turning reddish-tan. The caps are amber colored with darker coloration stripes extending from the cap related to the gills growing underneath. The edge of the cap is rippled and lighter in color. iNaturalist things they're Galerina vittiformis but I don't have enough info to comfortably confirm that. Image is a composite of 55 images focus stacked. I accidentally posted the low resolution "thumbnail" instead of the actual picture.
