I actually don't have a problem with this, given that the teams were announced within the last month, are likely barebones operations at this point and not equipped for a proper draft.
That said, why advertise this as a draft at all? Change this to "inaugural roster reveal" and all is fixed.
Rockies promote C Jimmy Obertop to High-A Spokane.
Rockies option LHP Carson Palmquist, recall RHP Anthony Molina.
Rockies org promotes LHP Carson Skipper to Triple-A and RHP Davis Palermo to Double-A. May just be the first of much shuffling today.

Rockies release Complex League utility player Daniel McElveny.
Rockies RHP Ulises Reyes has been suspended for 56 games due to a positive test for stanozolol.
The Rockies have signed former second rounder Tommy Doyle to a minor league deal. Doyle spent 2024 in the Braves org where, after spending most of the first half of the season on the IL, he produced decent results at Triple-A.
Things didn't go so well for him after, though, as injuries began piling up and after being converted to a full time reliever in 2022, he completely lost his command. He spent 2024 in indie ball, and impressed the Rockies with a solid performance in the Mexican Winter League.
Rockies sign LHP Matt Turner to a minor league deal. A former prep 11th round pick of the Guardians, the 25 year old Turner was putting together a decent career as a starter in the lower minors pre-Covid.

Looks like there is also a mutual option for Estrada in '26, meaning the Rockies and Estrada will both have a say in whether or not he will go to arbitration or not. Either way, he is under team control for two seasons.
Rockies Thairo Estrada nsigning a one year deal, but worth noting that the Rockies will have control of a Gen 5 arb year in 2026.

Not after watching Arcane. X.X
Oh right, I'm on Blue Sky.
