Good for him but this is nothing to celebrate. Perhaps if he didn't kill anyone when he had his accident. A very good friend of ours, the father of two young daughters was murdered by a drunk driver 30 years ago. It was a devastating loss. He never went to prison.

ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.
So it wasn’t the execution, in broad daylight of three American citizens under her watch that got Kristi Noem fired.
It was spending $220 million on campaign ads featuring herself, for DHS.
Republicans would rather start WE3 than face Americans in the 2026 elections too. The question is, what are the Dems going to do to fight back?
