I hate to say that never I hear the word damsel I immediately think of a damsel in distress, and how so many of my friends love drawing kinky stuff.

Yet that’s how it seems to be with these douchebags. They’ll talk about how trumpy is supposedly helping the economy and then try to change the subject when you point out that everything is more expensive, people keep getting laid off and your Hispanic neighbors are afraid to leave their house.

One thing I have noticed around here is the tendency of people to bring up how great they think trumpy is, then try to say they don’t like to talk about politics when they find out you didn’t vote for him. Like man you brought it up, how the hell am I supposed to react.

In 1989 my father passed away. My mother suddenly found herself a single mother with three kids in a small apartment. My father’s life insurance allowed her to buy a house but 15 years prior she would not have been able to buy it because of her gender.

In this time of wanting your art to be seen by as many people as possible, we really cant go around claiming that one gallery site is "more professional" and another. We really just need to post wherever we can.

I think its time to stop looking down on people for having a deviantart as well. Unprofessional though it may supposedly be, it is often easier to upload work there and far more accessible to many people. It is far easier to access work on there than twitter or bluesky.

This is painfully true. Posting art on social media really only seems to get notice when you are posting constantly, and its liable to lead to burn out. I love doing this but I feel like gallery sites are still so important. Not just professional websites, but even the more casual sites.

It goes right back to people refusing to vote, as sadly most things do. They want to go back to when they didn't have to care because frankly they don't care. Replace what she said about the rest of the world with trans people, LGBT folks in general, immigrants, etc.

When I was in college (byu-Idaho) they claimed they could cure porn addiction with the AA twelve step program. The only thing the succeeded in doing was making people think about it more and feel miserable. The psych professor were quite vocal about pseudoscience bur nobody listened to them.

As much as I hate to admit it due to their embrasure of ai, deviantart is still probably the best way to catalogue my work. Its interface is clunky but there just doesn’t seem to be better with such a large audience. It also has gotten me more work and more money than any other site.
