I would like to make a complaint about a book. It's the one I'm writing and it just suddenly got really sad and that wasn't the plan at all. Surprise emotions like this are unfair.

One of the nice things about writing children's prose is that I get to read a lot of children's books at the moment and call it work. There's some really fresh, well crafted stuff going on in the MG prose space at the moment!
So much of what this game does is staggeringly good, but it's definitely hit a couple of "despairing sigh" moments in a row lately.
Hmm. I think I may be reaching the part of RE9 where its interest in the past of the series stops being rewarding and starts being gratuitous and silly.

After losing in court one can now safely mention that the Müller brand of milk products is owned by an AfD (Germany's officially declared "extreme right wing" party) supporting billionaire. Whose giant family relocated to Switzerland in 2003 btw, to avoid 30% inheritance tax when he passes.

It's so well paced! Every time I'm starting to get so tense at Grace's misadventures that I think about putting the game down and having a break, it switches to Leon as a little treat and suddenly it's three hours later and I'm still playing.
It's the most resident evil game it's possible to make! I'm constantly blown away by it so far. It's far more cohesive than seems at all reasonable.
