Gotta thank @minipaintmitch.bsky.social! Their tutorial video was fantastic. My result is a bit different as I don't have an airbrush and this mini is from Imperial Assault (as opposed to the larger model from Legion) but I was still able to adapt the techniques.

Sorry, those of you waiting for my next ASMR video!
My neighbour, it turns out, is having their kitchen remodeled, so my flat is constantly ringing to the sounds of drills, sanders and circular saws.
They're nearly finished on the big stuff though so hopefully I can get back to recording soon.

And before anyone says it, yes, I'm fully aware that Legion and Shatterpoint are very different games.
But I just can't help but feel of the 5 Star Wars games (Armada, X-Wing, Imperial Assault, Legion and Shatterpoint), the two still left are those that I found least interesting.

I know there's a long convoluted story, but I can't help feel that somewhere between having capital ship, space dogfight, campaign based dungeon crawler and humanoid army miniatures games...
... Yet later somehow just having two humanoid army miniatures games...
Something went really wrong.

And here he is, complete (apart from his base) - Darth Maul for Star Wars Imperial Assault.
Super happy with this one. I'm not really much of a mini painter, I just want to slap some colour on the grey plastic. But I felt Maul was a chance to have some fun.
