I'm proud to announce that I've been endorsed by the George C Simkins Jr Memorial PAC!
Dr. Simkins was a trailblazing civil rights leader who fought tirelessly for justice and equality in Greensboro. His legacy reminds us what’s possible when we stand up for what’s right.
Wishing peace not only for our community, but for people everywhere. May the year ahead bring healing, understanding, and harmony to our world.
To those celebrating: L’shanah tovah u’metukah — may you have a good and sweet year!
As the sun set tonight, we welcomed Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year — a time for reflection, renewal, and hope. It's a moment to look back on the year that’s passed, and to set intentions for the one ahead with open hearts and fresh perspective.
We’ve made progress supporting unions and their members, and I’ll keep fighting for fair wages, safe workplaces, and respect for every employee.

Happy 4th of July! It was so great seeing the community come out for Fun Forth earlier today. Wishing everyone a great holiday! 🇺🇸
I am excited to welcome JetZero and all the individuals who will be relocating to our wonderful city!
Greensboro is home to many innovative companies, and I am proud that JetZero is joining Boom Supersonic and Marshall Aerospace at the airport. These developments are contributing to the growth of our city and have already made a direct impact within District 5.
JetZero's $4.7 billion flagship facility will create over 14,500 jobs in Greensboro, resulting in a significant economic impact on our city.
Last week, JetZero announced that PTI will be the future location of their plant as they develop the next generation of aircraft – a plane that is 50% more fuel-efficient than current options, ultimately aiming for carbon-neutral air travel.
Greensboro is the home of the future of flight, the hub of aviation innovation, and the site of one of the largest economic development projects in North Carolina history. www.wfmynews2.com/article/mone...
