So I can watch Resident Evil 9 playthroughs, but don't think I could play it. Partly, it's the creep factor, and partly that I'm terrible with shooting games. Odd that I can handle horror movies no problem, but games are a different story for some reason.

I have a caramel heuchera that's done quite well. Also have a dark leaved one that's just "meh."
I'll need to see how these perform in person before possibly making any purchases. Only plant in this group I might go for is the Vernonia. Personally, I feel there are far too many Heuchera on the market as it is.

A gray baby chicken with a small cup of chick starter food mixed with water. Her beak is crossed, a disability she was born with. Feeding this way ensures she gets some extra nutrients until she learns to adapt to eating differently.
One of our babies has a severe case of scissor beak. It's a fairly common condition where the lower and upper parts of the beak don't align properly. This may make eating and drinking more challenging until they adapt. Today we tried some chick food mixed with water. Made a mess, but she ate extra.
8. News stations located nowhere near where I live. Often times weather reports are the focus.
9. Various pages selling "tactical" gear or prepper/survivalist stuff. Once again, I suspect I'm a target by being male and Gen X. I never buy items via Facebook links, so that's not triggering it.
5. Police departments in cities/states I'm nowhere near.
6. Reels with younger men taking their shirts off and promoting exercise routines. I mean, I wouldn't say no, but I'm not following any exercise pages nor am I young.
7. Reels of women promoting various "health" supplements.
Facbook is once again suggesting weird pages/reels for me to follow.
1. A page that sells heavy, earth moving equipment.
2. A garden center located in Pennsylvania (Garden center makes sense, state does not).
3. Random right wing comedians (probably because I'm male and of a certain age).
Can they just stop with this? Surely there must be other news they can hyper fixate on. Westerly is busy enough without additional Taylor tourists.

I've ordered it from Plant Delights nursery, which specializes in many weird things, including hardy palms. I've received plants from them in the past and had good luck. I also went with two less exotic plants, including Thermopsis, and Eryngium.
I've chosen an especially hardy version which is rated for zone 6b, or possibly colder. Sabal minor is a type of scrub palm. Unlike the tall palm trees of Florida or California, scrub palm doesn't form a central trunk. Instead it behaves more like a spreading shrub.
Today's Gardening Advice: This year, I'm trying out a new plant and testing the microclimate here in southern Rhode Island. The ocean is about 10 minutes to our south and technically we're in USDA Zone 7a. This means, it's time to try out a Sabal palm.

hampered by interruptions. Had started listening in January, but was sick, we went on vacation, and I ended up listening in bits and pieces. STILL excellent, but I feel like I missed out on some things. May need to read a physical copy.
The novel is a fantastic, Lovecraftian tale filled with otherworldly monsters from another space/time/plane and their bizarre familial relationships. Poor Mona is kind of caught in the middle. Excellent read. Highly recommend. I listened to the audio book and unfortunately my enjoyment was
2. American Elsewhere, by Robert Jackson Bennett. Our main character, Mona, discovers her deceased mother left her a house in her will. It's located in the small town of Wink, New Mexico. The town is weird, the people there are weird, the rules are weird, yet Mona feels like she might just belong.
There are characters mentioned who I kind of remember, but don't at the same time. I could go back and read the books in order...and maybe some of the supplemental graphic novels. Not sure I have the stamina for that.
What I've Been Reading Lately:
1. Alien: Inferno's Fall, by Philippa Ballantine and Clara Carija. I'd read some of these books out of order, so went back to read this one. Was pretty good. I went too long between books here, as I feel like I'm missing something.
