I don’t think the kidnap victim was rich or famous. We don’t know who has her or how she’s being treated. She’s not getting meds. At her age, she might not be able to fully understand what’s happening, making it all the more frightening. I have elderly relatives. I feel compassion and worry for her.
Why wouldn’t it be? The kidnap victim is 84 years old, which is unusual, and her daughter is a public figure. I think about how frightening it must be for Guthrie’s mother at her age and I hope she is returned home safely.
