I find the difference in a resolution a bit too much. Maybe a few pixelart elements would help to tie them together

#Picotron is my game engine of choice and my favorite computer. I'd love for more people to try it, and I hope that creating little tutorials will lower the boundary.

For anybody interested in the Rosemary Peaks:
I wrote a blog post on my Ko-Fi (free) to bring order to the chaos that is gamedev. I might also try turning that into a video, but I've gotten a bit too self-conscious about my voice and accent lately.

Big visual changes today. I changed tons of outlines, animations and other small stuff. Hopefully for the better!
I'm also working on "Rosemary Peaks" inhabitants and their stories. Keeping track of who unlocks what is getting harder and harder.

This week on "Rosemary Peaks":
- made NPC's and Items more maintainable
- enabled building and saving of user built structures
- incorporated animals and the bug net
- decided on and implemented a crafting system
- created new environments, NPC's and items

Did it, best of luck with your survey!
Damn good coffee!
And hot, too!
The tile screen of a game called Rosemary Peaks: A fresh start
I finally found a name I liked - maybe I'll have to hide 1 to 2 Coopers in there now.
Work on the game is going great, it is still a lot of fun. If you want to see it in action:

Congrats on the well deserved shoutout! Your account is one I regularly check on to keep up with your project. Inspiring stuff!
Enjoy the process of experimenting with your produce.
Still working on this nameless cozy game. Do you have opinions on these names?
Ivy Hollow (too short?)
Cozy Hollow (too generic?)
Rosemary Hollow (sweet spot?)

A very exciting upcoming release from a new face on blueksy. Stop by and say hi to watch their great games! (I'd recommend pet the cat)
Thank you so much!
What a perfect account you have there :D
thank you for your work!
I'll consider adding a bit of fine tuning. Maybe different rods have different levels of help or something like that.
You can cut wood at the cutting board to get sticks.
Maybe a chopping block could allow the player to make planks. I want the crafting& cooking to happen in the world, not a menu.
And dang, I thought about having food be important. Something like valheim were it increases your stamina pool.
Here is 10 minutes of gameplay from the current version. Let me know what you think! :) youtu.be/xJk6fBLU-5g
What a friggin' cool idea, really nice! And the look is great :)
Happy #Screenshotsaturday!
I'm still working on my #cozygame. I now have a fishing minigame, working and walking NPC's and finally an idea for a nice story. I will enjoy trying to make my farming/life sim feel distinct.
No. 1 : You will start without a place of your own.

Today is the fifth anniversary of my first ever commercial (early access) release. A little ghost hunting game made in #godot that I created together with a great friend who worked on most of the SFX.
Let's see what the next five years will bring :)

Very impressive tech!
The player must feel very powerful with this kind of magic :)
Welcome to bluesky <3
Thank you so much! Yes, there is customization :) I will showcase that in the future, but for now I am testing it by always going with random hair, skin, shirt etc ^^
I'm sadly sick at the moment, but that means I have tons of time to code.
It is starting to feel like a real game now!
I have a few ideas to avoid the generic #cozygame niche, but do let me know if you have wishes/ideas.

This looks great!
Hopefully we can try it soon :)
And keep the throwing mechanic plzzzz
Looks fun, cool ideal! Can you share a GIF? I'd love to see it in motion
Working on a cozy game for fun.
It is hard to strike a balance between creating deep, versatile systems and systems that are shallow enough so that you can actually fill them with content.
Side note: Color tables are the best thing ever. Seasons are just one palette shift away!

Nice one, is this a before and after?
This is really good, great soundtrack
Looks really impressive - but this is not Picotron, is it?
Very nice, you're rushing through there at Dev speeds, looks great :)
That looks very organic, how did you get the pinball to look so smooth?
I'm a huge Gameboy and demake fan, thank you so much for the attribution so I could have a look :)
Ah alright, okay :) thanks!
