This whole time, I have held hope that the world knows he is not us. That they know, once he is gone and sanity returns to The Oval, long-standing alliances will be restored, world orgs will be rejoined, his racist and greedy policies overturned and his name scraped off of every building and sign in the country. But this? This blatant lack of humanity and outright evil that is happening in our name… but really at the demands of his handlers and blackmailers…is beyond the pale. How will any of us ever be seen the same way again by the world? How will they ever forgive us? We sit here and are just watching it happen. WE ARE LETTING IT HAPPEN. Because we do nothing. Our feckless leaders do nothing. The world will never see The United States of America the same way ever again… nor should they.

NEW: The Navy is no longer allowed to shroud its criminal trials in secrecy and must provide public access to hearings and records, a federal judge ruled last month, the result of a yearslong lawsuit filed by ProPublica.
