Then if you are building more sensitive workloads, for example like HIPAA, you need a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), which usually comes with a significant cost.
The other part is support for your own compliance. For example, for GDPR compliance you need to have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the provider, most platforms give you this pre-signed without any additional cost.
Yeah sure! I think there are 2 main sides for it. First of all, how is the platform itself certified? Most are compliant with SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001.
