For people in the TTRPG sphere: I’d done some work for this person in the past. The royalties didn’t make what was originally promised so I didn’t return for work. Sad to hear the project organization wasn’t the only issue. Hope everyone affected is doing well now, best wishes to them!
I’d done some art at one point for Daylite with no real returns versus what was promised, it’s a shame to hear it goes deeper and was worse than simply over promising royalties…

The proposed rule would have allowed applicants to register up to ten works published within a thirty-day period. Based on commenters’ input and to facilitate broader participation in the registration system, the final rule permits applicants to register up to twenty works, where all works within the group were first published within the same calendar year. The final rule takes effect on February 17, 2026, to coincide with the expected completion of related system development and educational resources. Artists! The US Copyright Office has changed the rules, starting in Feb. we can register up to 20 published 2D works of art in a single application, making it way more affordable!
Important as registration is needed to fight theft in court or the CCB.

Did a lot more environments than I’ve done previously and it’s something I want to bring into the new year with me :)
