...I don't think the work I do can fix anything right now (provide temporary respite at best) but maybe....maybe it can plant seeds for what comes after? When we have to build again?

Having more mental bandwidth to take care of ourselves and stop to have a proper look at what is going on...it breaks my heart. I hold on to tiny fragments of hope. It has also put the work I do in a new light...

I quit my job a few months ago to go freelance. Work has been a bit slow coming in but enough to pay the bills. Which means I have plenty of time to rest and recuperate and read and you know...I think I'm slowly radicalising.

I'm mostly here cause I left Twitter after Musk bought it and then noticed I started to use LinkedIn more and more as social media and that's just as awful

I was the gf that needed convincing multiple times and I SO grateful my partner kept putting it on.

Both of those this week, and a lack of mountains (although that doesn't stop one from going outside)

This makes me want to go out on a good hike
