obviously i haven’t erased “but” from my vocabulary lmao im just mindful of where im using it, especially if im talking to someone who is upset

There is a line in GoT where a character says something like “everything that comes before ‘but’ in a sentence is bullshit”(i’m paraphrasing) and i agree. it’s a bit silly i’ve taken that to heart somehow but(ha) i think it has genuinely helped me get better at conversing/showing more empathy. rad!
