Been to UCL too and the folks I sat by were great. Adult father and son that couldn't believe how far we traveled to watch City. Asked all about supporters clubs and stuff. I feel like this stuff gets blown out of proportion online.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the 1894 guys have never gate kept against me for being American. I've sat with them a few times and they were great. Stupid ticket prices are a bigger barrier to entry and fan retention than dummies on social media bringing up my nationality.
