Russian forces abducted 19 Ukrainians from the village of Sopych in Sumy Oblast, according to Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
He noted that such actions are a violation of international humanitarian law.
In December 2025, Russia illegally took about 50 Ukrainians from the village of Hrabovske.
