One Year of Ukraine’s "Drone Line"
Launched in March 2025, the "Drone Line" initiative has become one of the most ambitious programs to scale combat drone operations in modern warfare.
The results after one year:
▪️1000+ drone crews operating on the front line
▪️Drone units responsible for nearly every fourth Russian soldier eliminated
▪️In January-February 2026 — every third Russian casualty
▪️Around 30,000 Russian troops neutralised during the winter alone

Russian forces abducted 19 Ukrainians from the village of Sopych in Sumy Oblast, according to Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
He noted that such actions are a violation of international humanitarian law.
In December 2025, Russia illegally took about 50 Ukrainians from the village of Hrabovske.
On March 6, 300 Ukrainian defenders were returned home from Russian captivity, as well as two Ukrainian civilians.
Most of them had been in captivity for more than a year, some since 2022.

On March 6, in #Budapest, Hungarian authorities took seven Ukrainian citizens hostage, as reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha.
More than 92,000 Russian occupiers have been eliminated over the past three months, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
He also said that a new record was set in destroying enemy unmanned aerial vehicles — 15,438 drones were shot down over the front lines and Ukrainian cities.

Another 200 Ukrainian defenders have returned home, - President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“I am grateful to all our warriors on the front line who help secure additions to Ukraine’s exchange pool. Bringing our people home is the result of the strength of Ukrainian defenders,” - Zelenskyy emphasized. 🇺🇦
Around 250,000 Ukrainians are currently in the Middle East. So far, none of them have been reported injured as a result of the shelling, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said.
In cooperation, some Ukrainian citizens have already been relocated to safer areas.

🔥 A sanctioned tanker flying the Russian flag is on fire in the Mediterranean Sea.
The tanker was attacked by a drone. One of Reuters’ sources suggested that Ukraine might be behind the strike. However, the agency emphasized that there is no evidence to support this claim.

Ukrzaliznytsia (the Ukrainian railway) showed the destroyed carriage of the Chop–Barvinkove train, hit by Russia.

⚡ Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of #Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that in February, #Ukrainian interceptor drones destroyed over 1,500 Russian drones of various types that the #Russian army launched against Ukraine.
Ukrainian reconnaissance units are using these signatures to locate and target Russian positions more efficiently.
So, Russia has implemented a workaround — but it reduces concealment and increases vulnerability.
